The HIVE Mini Electric Sauna Heater is a slimmer version of the popular HIVE Sauna Heater, perfect for slightly smaller saunas, up to 706 cubic feet.

The HIVE Mini features an exceptional 330-pound stone capacity (265lbs with HIVE air tunnel), ensuring long-lasting and mild steam for sauna-goers. The sauna heater is crafted of high-grade stainless steel and includes quality heating elements.

It combines modern design and craftsmanship with innovative features. For Simple Sauna Sizing, please follow the link HUUM - Sizing Your Heater. Choose the heater with power adequate to the cubage of the sauna room.  However, for non-insulated walls (brick, glass block, glass, concrete, etc.) a more powerful heater is needed. Add 1,2 m³ to the cubage of the steam room per each square meter of uninsulated wall. For example, a 10 m³ sauna room with a glass door corresponds to the power requirement of a 11.5 m³ sauna room.

Sauna Stones 

Required for Operation. Sold Separately.

The HUUM round sauna stones of Olivine diabase are durable and their thermal capacity is high. It’s recommended to use round sauna stones in HUUM sauna heaters as they complement the design of the heaters and provide milder steam.

You regulate the heat and steam of the sauna by throwing water on the sauna rocks. The shape, size and composition of the stones, and their placement in the heater make all the difference. We recommend round sauna rocks because they provide milder steam. The round shape ensures that the water reaches inner stones and evaporates gradually instead of vaporizing in one go from the top layer. Sauna rocks are highly visible in HUUM sauna heaters, and you’ll need smaller and larger stones for filling the heater evenly without noticeable gaps. We suggest stacking a denser top layer with slightly smaller stones. This enhances the accumulation of heat.

• HUUM HIVE Mini Sauna Heater requires approximately :
• 330lbs (170 kgs) sauna stones with a diameter of 2-4 in (5-10 cm). 10 boxes x 33lbs (15kg)
• or 265lbs (120kg) sauna stones, with use of HIVE Air Tunnel. 8 boxes x 33lbs (15kg)

UKU Sauna Control

Required for Operation. Sold separately. Your sauna controller. Multiple options including Wi-Fi capable.

1. Choose the model. The UKU Control comes in two different models: UKU Local or UKU WiFi, choose what best suits your needs.

• UKU Local control system is perfect if you prefer to heat your sauna on the spot or don’t have a network connection in your location. With the stylish control panel on the wall, you can easily adjust the temperature, heating time, and more.

  You can also connect the sauna lighting, ventilation, and steamer to the control system for added convenience. Overheating protection and a child lock take care of the safety of your sauna. If you change your mind and want to control the sauna from the app, you can simply add Wi-Fi capability later.

• UKU WiFi control system is an excellent option for saunas in areas with WiFi coverage, such as homes, offices, or accommodations. With this system, you can heat your sauna using the control panel on-site or from your mobile phone, no matter where you are at the moment.

  HUUM app allows you to easily set the start and end time of heating, the target temperature, and check the current temperature of the sauna. Plus, you’ll receive a notification when the sauna is warm and ready to use.

  You can also connect the sauna lighting, ventilation, and steamer to the control system for added convenience. Overheating protection and a child lock take care of the safety of your sauna.

2. Choose the casing. There are different casing designs options, choose the one that suits the interior design of your sauna and to matches your style: CLASSIC, WOOD and GLASS.

Extension Box, for UKU Sauna Control System

Required for Operation for Heaters above 9kW. Sold separately.

The extension module for UKU sauna control system is an accessory that is necessary when the wattage of the sauna heater exceeds the power of the main module.

The main module can control up to 9kW heaters, above that an extension box is needed.

Safety Railing

The safety railing of the HIVE electric sauna heater increases safety in the sauna room as it helps to prevent accidental contact with the hot heater. The railing is made of wood, and its fasteners from stainless steel. Classy wood-toned arcs raise the level of safety and give a stylish complement to the interior of the sauna room.

Embedding Flange

Optional.

The embedding flange of the HIVE electric sauna heater is useful when you are planning to install your HIVE heater partly inside the sauna bench. It is made of stainless steel and it covers up the rugged wooden cut rims around the heater, leaving a beautiful, refined and smooth final result.

• As a design option, HIVE electric sauna heater can be embedded into a sauna bench.
  
• Use the embedding flange of the HIVE electric sauna heater to cover the cut rims of the opening.
  
• For HIVE electric sauna heater: inner diameter 22.6 in (57.5 cm), outer diameter 28.9 in (73.5 cm)

Reflector

Optional.

The reflector is an optional accessory that reflects back the heat that emanates from the heater and allows to reduce the safety distances from the walls by half. The reflector is made of stainless steel, and it is attached to the wires of the heater. It is also possible to connect several reflectors to each other for obtaining a larger surface.

• Place the reflector hooks simultaneously on the heater wires in a way that the reflector’s top hooks fall over the upper wire and lower hooks go around to their closest wire. Congrats - You are done!
• If you want to connect a reflector to another one, place the outer sides of the reflectors facing each other, and fix them together with bolts and nuts at the top and bottom.

Air Tunnel

Optional.

The air tunnel of the HIVE sauna heater speeds up sauna heating by 25%, enhances air circulation and increases the lifespan of the heating elements. This stainless-steel housing is installed in the center of the heater and will reduce stone capacity by an estimated 2 boxes (66lbs or 30kgs).
