We are based in Wilmington, DE. However, we don’t have a showroom. Since we get our products from many places, it saves you, the customer, money by not bringing all products to Wilmington just to ship them back out again. Therefore offering you much lower prices compared to any retailers.

Our products ship from multiple warehouses around the US so we can get your order to you as fast as possible. We also get various product styles throughout the year so our website is our best showroom for what's in stock.

At Solaci Home, products ship directly from the manufacturers' warehouses, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery. Most items are dispatched from facilities within the United States, such as in Chicago or Portland, others, like Dundalk LeisureCraft products, ship from Canada. By partnering closely with top brands, we’re able to provide a smooth shipping experience tailored to your location.

We offer different shipping methods based on the size and weight of your order. Lighter items are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground for convenience. Larger items, such as sauna kits, are shipped via LTL freight, which includes curbside delivery. For pre-built saunas, we use flatbed trucks.

The delivery time for your order can vary based on product availability.

1. Most products are in stock and their shipping time is between 1-2 weeks.
2. For made-to-order products, such as those from Dundalk Leisurecraft, we will communicate the estimated delivery time for these products on an individual basis to ensure you have the most accurate information.
3. In the rare case that your product is on backorder, often for new or highly popular items, the delivery time may be longer.

You can find the estimated shipping times on most product pages, and we do our best to keep this information up-to-date with the latest inventory details.

Once the freight company has confirmed pick-up of your order, we will email you a tracking number that provides a more precise delivery date and allows you to track your shipment.

We will send you tracking information within 1-3 business days of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out.

For SaunaLife, Finnmark Designs, HUUM, and Harvia heaters, local pick-up is not available, and orders must be shipped.

For some Dundalk Leisurecraft saunas shipped in crates longer than 92 inches, you can choose to either receive home delivery (requiring a forklift or similar equipment) or pick up the crate from the local delivery terminal. However, please note that choosing local terminal pick-up does not reduce the shipping cost.

While some of our higher-saunas come pre-built and ready to use, most of our saunas are delivered as ready-to-assemble kits. These kits include all the necessary components for assembly, which will be delivered to you in a crate. The assembly is to be straightforward, making it easy for you to install the sauna yourself.

Many of our saunas come in kits and are designed for easy DIY installation. They come with step-by-step manuals or videos to guide you through the process, which are available on each individual product page under the "Assembly" or "Installation" tab.

If you have any technical questions during assembly, our technical team is available to assist remotely. Photos and videos illustrating the issue are always welcome and will help us provide quicker support.

We don’t offer installation services.

If you prefer professional assistance, you can hire a regular contractor. For saunas requiring electrical work, such as hardwiring, we strongly recommend using a certified electrician.

Operating costs can be calculated based on your specific setup. For instance, a 6 kW heater in a 3 or 4-person sauna used twice a week, typically costs under $5 per month. To estimate your own costs, multiply the heater's kilowatt rating (e.g., 6 kW) by your local electricity rate (e.g., $0.08/kWh) and the total hours of use each month.

The wattage you need depends on the size of your sauna. For example, a 4.5kW heater is ideal for saunas between 100 and 200 cubic feet, while a 9kW heater is better suited for spaces around 300 to 450 cubic feet. Saunas with lower insulation, glass surfaces, or unique designs may require higher wattage to compensate for heat loss. Be sure to check the product page for each sauna to find specific wattage recommendations from the manufacturer.

It’s entirely up to you! Many sauna users enjoy the soothing steam and increased humidity that pouring water on the hot rocks creates. A popular trend in sauna bathing focuses on combining lower temperatures with higher humidity, making water an important element of the sauna experience for those who prefer it.

A sauna heater typically lasts between 5 and 20 years. Its longevity depends on factors like the type of heater, how often it’s used, and the quality of water. Salty or acidic water, for example, can speed up wear and tear.

Electric sauna heaters generally require 220-240V for traditional saunas. Infrared saunas, on the other hand, typically operate on standard 110-120V outlets but will still need a dedicated circuit. Refer to your product's specifications for the exact requirements.

Electric sauna heaters for traditional saunas must be hardwired by a licensed electrician to comply with safety standards and local electrical codes. Infrared saunas, however, may be plug-in if they are designed for 110-120V outlets.

Most residential electric sauna heaters can reach up to 195°F, which is the standard for home saunas. This creates an optimal environment for relaxation and health benefits.

Electric sauna heaters typically take around 30 to 40 minutes to heat the sauna to the desired temperature. This may vary slightly based on the sauna’s size, insulation, and heater wattage.

Wood-burning sauna stoves typically reach temperatures between 185°F (85°C) and 200°F (93°C), depending on the stove model and the sauna’s design. It is generally advisable to monitor the sauna’s heat to stay within safe and comfortable limits. For optimal performance, follow the manufacturer's guidelines, and use a thermometer to ensure your sauna remains at the ideal temperature.

The heating time depends on factors like the sauna’s size, insulation, and the type of wood used. In ideal conditions, a small or well-insulated sauna can heat up in about 35 minutes. However, larger saunas or those in colder climates may take up to 90 minutes to reach the desired temperature. Using properly seasoned hardwood helps ensure faster, more efficient heating.

Yes, wood-burning sauna stoves require a chimney or flue to safely expel smoke and gases produced during combustion. This system ensures the sauna remains free of harmful fumes and provides efficient, clean burning. When purchasing a wood-burning sauna stove, you’ll have the option to select a compatible chimney kit. Please note that the chimney kit is sold separately from the stove or sauna.

While you don’t require special wood for your stove, the type and quality of the wood used significantly impact performance.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to use dry, seasoned hardwoods like birch, oak, or maple. These woods burn cleaner, produce steady heat, and reduce the risk of creosote buildup in the chimney, which can be a fire hazard.

Avoid using softwoods like pine or spruce, they tend to burn faster, produce more smoke, and leave behind more creosote, making them less ideal​ for wood-burning sauna stoves.

Local regulations may apply to the use of wood-burning stoves, especially concerning smoke emissions. Be sure to check your area’s guidelines and obtain any necessary permits before installation.​

Wood-burning sauna stoves are designed for outdoor use and are not recommended for indoor installations. These stoves require proper ventilation to expel smoke and gases, which is more easily achieved in an outdoor setting.
