Installation

Preparing Your SaunaLife G6 Outdoor Sauna for Installation

To ensure your sauna functions optimally, it's vital to set it on a solid, stable foundation. Follow these guidelines:

Foundation Requirements

• Level and Stable Base: The sauna must be positioned on a level and stable foundation that is at least 3 inches higher than the surrounding ground.
• Support for Beams: Ensure all base beams have adequate support underneath.
• Recommended Materials: We suggest placing the sauna on concrete blocks or strips, with compacted gravel underneath.
• Weed Prevention: Utilizing geotextile under the sauna can help inhibit the growth of grass and weeds.
• Installation Options: It’s also possible to place the sauna on a terrace or paved surface, but ensure it remains elevated above the surrounding area.

Final Touches

• Electrical Connections: Wire the heater and the prewired lighting system using the pre-installed conduit and provided equipment boxes.
• Completing the Setup: Once your sauna is in its final location, install the included gutter system and decorative baseboards to finish the look.

Delivery & Returns

The weight and packaging of a sauna influences how it's shipped, and we want to ensure you know what to expect when receiving your pre-built G6 sauna. Our goal is to provide you with a seamless experience from order to delivery. Here’s everything you need to know:

The Packaging 

Encased in wood, and on a Wooden Pallet

Your prebuilt sauna will be carefully encased in wood for solid protection and delivered on a wooden pallet, ensuring its safety throughout transit.

Type of Shipment

Specialized or Flat-bed truck delivery

This method is typically used for larger-sized saunas or pre-built saunas, ensuring secure transportation.

Tracking Your Delivery

Once your sauna leaves the manufacturer's warehouse, we will send you tracking details so you can follow your shipment and stay updated on its progress.

Scheduling Your Delivery

Scheduled appointment

We ensure your sauna arrives at a time that’s convenient for you! A pre-arranged delivery appointment is required. Once your sauna reaches a nearby terminal, the carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery. Your sauna won’t just show up unexpectedly; you’ll be kept informed every step of the way.

A contact number is required by the freight company to facilitate the delivery appointment.

What to Expect at the Time of Delivery

Requires off-loading from the flat-bed truck either by a crane or extended forklift.

We can help, but ultimately you are responsible for arranging the offloading and transporting the product to its final location.

• Crane - Lift from above : Your prebuilt SaunaLife G6 can be lifted by crane using rated straps, and 2x4s to protect metal trip and straps.

• Forklift - Lift from below: The G6 can also be forklifted off the flatbed truck and to its location from below. Forks have to go a minimum of 2/3 of the way through when lifting from the side. Be aware of drain pipe underneath, and keep forks a minimum of 710mm.
