Which Harvia Kip heater do you recommend for this sauna? the 6kw or the 8kw?
For the SaunaLife CL5G, we'd definitely recommend the Harvia KIP 8kW heater. Here’s why:
- It heats up faster, about 5 to 10 minutes quicker than the 6kW model, depending on outside temperature.
- It provides more consistent heat, especially considering the sauna’s full glass front, which can make heat retention slightly trickier.
- With only a small price difference, the 8kW gives you better long-term performance and flexibility without overworking the heater.
Does the SaunaLife CL5G come with LED lighting, or do I need to purchase it separately?
The SaunaLife CL5G already includes two 6-foot flexible dotless LED light strips that are designed to be positioned under the bench. These strips are wired together using a 2-way splitter, so both are controlled with the same remote for seamless operation. This setup provides plenty of lighting for the sauna. Additionally, since there are different benches, the light strips can be placed in various areas to create the perfect ambiance. If you decide later on that you'd like even more lighting, we do have extra light strips available as optional add-ons.
Between the sauna and the heater kit, I will have everything needed, correct? I have looked at the installation manual but it doesn\'t address the heater install. Thank you.
You will indeed have everything needed for the complete setup with the sauna and heater kit. The installation manuals for the saunas do not include the heater installation because the heaters are sold separately, and clients can choose from various models.
